Portola Hills

Nestled between Rancho Santa Margarita and Foothill Ranch lies a small community named Portola Hills. A short drive to the Saddleback Mountains, Trabuco Canyon, help create a desired location for Southern Californians. The 2000 census noted that Portola Hills’ population was approximately 6,500 residents. Portola Hills was a census-designated place in Orange County and was incorporated into the city of Lake Forest in the year 2000.

The community is truly a beautiful place. There are hundreds of acres of hiking, equestrian, and biking trails that offer gorgeous scenic views and a relaxing climate. Perhaps the most intriguing aspect about Portola Hills is its location. Residents are blessed with a home close to nature, but not very far away from attractions such as Knotts Berry Farm, Disneyland, Anaheim Angels and Ducks games, and of course, the beaches.

The community offers townhomes, condominiums, single family homes, estate homes, and even a few cottage homes. Parents with kids will be happy to know that Portola Hills Elementary School has won several awards in the past for its brilliant programs and teachers.
