Dove Canyon

Known as Orange County’s best-kept secrets, Dove Canyon is located just east of Rancho Santa Margarita and positioned next to the Cleveland National Forest. Though it’s a rather small community, there are still plenty of events and sights to see within Dove Canyon’s city limits. Dove Canyon is made up of approximately 5,000 residents and 1,200 homes. Major roads within Dove Canyon limits include Dove/Canyon Bell and Sycamore Canyon.

Many of the schools and hospitals are located in nearby Mission Viejo, which provide Dove Canyon with quiet and intimate real estate properties. Locals are treated to one of Southern California’s most prominent Wilderness Parks, also known as the Thomas F. Riley Wilderness Park. The area offers breathtaking sights and provides a wonderful learning experience for those interested in the Wagon Wheel Canyon’s ranching history.

Speaking of Wagon Wheel’s, the Wagon Wheel Park Bike Tails offer rolling hills and gorgeous views of the Orange County mountains, canyons, and ocean waters. With approximately 5 miles of trail, the bike park charges a $2.00 fee that will end up being the best $2 you ever spent.
